Archaeological / Cultural Resource Specialties -

We provide top tier archaeological/cultural resource solutions to construction needs such as cultural resource monitoring, AB52 Consultation Services to communicate with Native American tribes, archaeological survey and recording to identify known and recently discovered resources, archaeological pre-construction desktop reviews, and all phases of testing, from initial shovel test probes to full data recovery excavations.

Biological Services & Specialties

Biological Construction Monitoring - We offer a full spectrum of options for biological monitoring from reptile and plant identification and management, bat survey, nesting bird survey, spot-checking, burrow surveys, etc. Reach out to us with your specific needs!
We also have the ability to move species base on project needs; fish relocation, snake relocation and facilitating animals being brought to rescue facilities all fall within our realm of services

Forensic Services & Specialties

We have multiple in-house archaeologists with osteological backgrounds, including our Owner and Operator, Pete Morris who has been a lead archaeologist on several osteological projects. Mr. Morris has experience working on remote islands in the Pacific doing burial repatriation for the Unites States Marine Corps from WWII.
We have specialized equipment to detect the presence of cremation remains, skeletal remains and faunal remains.

Construction Services - Imaging Solutions

Drone construction management - We conduct a fly-over of in-progress construction work and utilize set photo points to convey progress and updates to construction and executive teams anywhere at any time. Also available is a walk-through of the project area with a 3D camera which enables a client to stop, rewind, zoom or pan the camera to any specific area or component of the construction process.
Underground Utility Discovery and Mapping - Using a Ground Penetrating Radar we can map out and discover abandoned or forgotten utility lines for removal or avoidance on site.
3D Mapping - We have the capability to render an object, building or structure in 3D , can be done at intervals or upon completion/planning stages.

Construction Site Monitoring / Water Turbidity Monitoring

We're happy to offer additional monitoring services beyond our specialities and into general construction monitoring for owners/project management, with boots constantly on the ground on construction projects we have a keen opportunity to provide upper management, agencies, and project managers a unique look on what's happening on each project, we can be specified for tasks such a compliance, safety or documentation of a specific event or activity.
SFC can provide water turbidity testing for projects working adjacent to water sources to keep the project in compliance
